We Love McPuffy!

We do lots of fun things in 2nd grade. The best thing we all love is having a BRAIN BREAK! A brain break is when we watch a video on the computer. Each video makes us go cuckoo! We run around, we dance, or we take deep breaths. We watch these short videos after we've done a lot of sitting. Sometimes we have been writing and sometimes we have been reading. These videos give an exercise break.
We watch these videos from a website called www.gonoodle.com. We got to pick a character to be our mascot. We chose McPufferson, who we call McPuffy. He has three hairs on top of his head. He's a purplish-blue. He has no hands or arms and he is a ball. He has pink freckles and he is chunky. He is so cute.

You can watch a video of us taking a brain break below.

Oscar loves brain breaks. It is so fun to watch the videos. And we get to get really wild when it happens.

My favorite brain breaks were Beauty and the Beast because we could jump a lot and it was a lot of fun, and Run Like a Kitty because we could go cuckoo and run around.

I just finished my homework and went "cuckoo" with a brain break! I did "Happy" with my daddy. I asked for another brain break but dad said it was time to read. Good night all! -Zachary

At home we tried to do a brain break but it didn't work. It was fun at school. I hope we do it more often.

Wow! What a great idea for brain breaks. We do them too! We are a Year 3 class from New Zealand. We live rurally and go to Auroa School. We live next to a Mountain. We are looking forward to seeing what you will be learning this year! http://mrsericssonauroa.blogspot.co.nz
