Here are my guidelines for blogging in the classroom.
Our class blog is our way of sharing our classroom with you. We will write about our learning and our ideas. Part of this is learning how to use the internet in a safe way. We will follow these safety guidelines when blogging.
1. Students will only use their first names when posting or commenting.
2. Parents who leave comments should not use last names either. Parents, you may leave your name as "Amanda's dad" or "Amanda's bubbie".
3. All comments submitted will be approved by Mrs. Levine before they are posted. Please use proper spelling and other conventions when posting. We are practicing good writing habits when we blog.
4. Even though students will be writing the posts, only Mrs. Levine can actually post things on our site. Every post will go through edits and revisions before they are posted.
5. Pictures will only be posted of those children whose parents signed the release sent home over the summer.
6. Please do not repost our information on social media sites. We are too young to be on Facebook!
If you have any other questions or comments about blog or internet safety, please let me know right away. Here are links to some informational videos about blogging for more general information.
